A variety of community advocates, peers, and professionals contribute to The EPIC Blog. Some remain anonymous, while others use pseudonyms or acronyms to protect their privacy and status. Learn more about some of our contributors below.
Eric Danny Harris is a dedicated HIV Advocate recognized as POZ Magazine's "The POZ 100" list in 2016 and 2018 for peer HIV work in the South and by those over 50 years old. Harris is Executive Director of Engaging Arkansas Communities, Co-Chair for the Arkansas HIV Planning Group (HPG), Advisory Board member for Southern AIDS Coalition, and member of the National HIV/AIDS and Aging Coalition.
Positively J is a native of rural Arkansas and credits her love of community and family for overcoming many of the life altering changes she has experienced. She is driven to assure that all rural and aging Arkansans living with HIV have access to the many resources available to them. Positively J is a member of Positive Women’s Network-U

Positively J is a member of Positive Women’s Network-USA and does national HIV advocacy for and with Women Living with HIV inclusive of Trans Women. Her goal is empowering women to live, survive, and thrive in life.
Kodee Jane is a vibrant and visible advocate for intersectional collective liberation and a Southern Queer Trans masculine Person living with HIV. They have been involved in community organizing in Arkansas since 2015. Kodee is a Community Health Worker in Central Arkansas with Engaging Arkansas Communities and presently attends graduate
Kodee Jane is a vibrant and visible advocate for intersectional collective liberation and a Southern Queer Trans masculine Person living with HIV. They have been involved in community organizing in Arkansas since 2015. Kodee is a Community Health Worker in Central Arkansas with Engaging Arkansas Communities and presently attends graduate school studying Public Administration. Kodee is currently a fellow for The SERO Project Justice Institute. They are part of the Pozitively Trans cohort housed under The Transgender Law Center. Kodee is a cat dad, avid reader, nature lover, artist, and possesses an adventurous, curious outlook about life, liberty, and health. Kodee has a strong desire to deconstruct stigmas related to sexual wellness that impact quality of life for everyone!
Katie Adsila Willingham is a woman of transgender experience living and thriving with HIV since 2000. In addition to her contributions to The EPIC Blog, Willingham is an active HIV Advocate, a patient blogger for WebMD, an Advisory Board member and blogger for The Well Project’s A Girl Like Me, and is Alabama state lead for Positive Women's Network USA.
Dwayne ("Dwyn") Wade is an active HIV and LGBTQ+ Advocate, emphasizing sex positive approaches in his work. Wade previously created social media content for EAC and you can also hear him having frank conversations about sex, HIV and PrEP on past episodes of EAC's popular PrEP for the Night Podcast. Wade is a business student, recording artist, and dancer.
